Description
Ingredients: Water, soy beans, whole wheat, sea salt, Koji (aspergilus oryzae). From Organic Agriculture. Potential allergens: Wheat and Soy. This condiment originated in China, about 2500 years ago, and was later taken to Japan (7th century) by Buddhist monks. Its flavor is less concentrated than Tamari, it is obtained in a traditional way through a fermentation process of soy beans. This process takes about 2-3 years. It is subsequently filtered, pasteurized and bottled.
